Attorney Meghan Slack to Be Honored by Massachusetts Bar Association
Attorney Meghan Slack is one of four Massachusetts Bar Association members selected to receive a Volunteer Recognition Award for her dedication to the organization and the legal profession.
Attorney Slack is a prominent MBA volunteer. She currently serves as the Labor & Employment Section Vice-Chair and Young Lawyers Division Treasurer. She was recently selected as the Young Lawyers Division Chair-Elect for 2018-19.
Attorney Slack uses her platform as to spotlight the need for greater organizational diversity and more representative leadership in the legal profession. She has helped spearhead efforts to engage the MBA community in thoughtful dialogue about implicit bias in the workplace and the value of diversity in law firms.
Attorney Slack also works to reinforce the Young Lawyers Division’s role as a bridge between law students and the MBA by preparing programming that serves to aid new lawyers as they transition from law school to practice.
